This exhibition explores self trust as a living practice. The works move through belief, doubt, and becoming, tracing how thought, care, and intention shape both inner life and lived experience.

Rooted in Black and queer neurodivergence, the pieces use affirmation, symbolism, and repetition as visual language. Plants, vessels, text, and intuitive marks appear as reminders rather than instructions, inviting viewers to slow down and notice what is forming.

In Bloom, I Trust holds growth as nonlinear and ongoing. Healing is framed not as a destination, but as an active, creative process practiced in real time.

EXHIBITION A

  1. IN BLOOM, I TRUST — This piece is about choosing trust while things are still forming. Growth is shown as layered, imperfect, and alive. The plants, vessels, and affirmations move like a quiet promise that care compounds over time. In Bloom I Trust is not about certainty. It is about staying present and committed to becoming, even when the outcome is still unfolding.

Mixed Media on Canvas, Acrylic, Spray Paint, Paper, Gold Foil, Approx. 60 x 40 in, $6500

  1. ASSUME THE FEELING — This work looks at how belief lives in the body. The figure becomes a map of thought, energy, and intention, holding both logic and intuition at once. Numbers, words, and symbols act as reminders rather than instructions. The piece asks what it means to embody belief before there is proof, and how inner alignment shapes what we experience externally.

Mixed Media on Canvas, Acrylic, Spray Paint, Approx. 24 x 36 in, $3300
